Midday is an all-in-one business management platform for freelancers and solo entrepreneurs, consolidating time tracking, invoicing, file storage, and financial overviews into a single application. It aims to streamline operations and provide AI-driven financial insights, reducing the need for multiple disparate tools.

How It Works

The application is built as a monorepo using Bun, React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a backend powered by Supabase for database, storage, and real-time features, and Fly.io for the API layer using tRPC. It leverages Tauri for desktop applications and Expo for mobile, with Shadcn and TailwindCSS for the UI. This stack provides a modern, performant, and unified development experience across web and native platforms.

Quick Start & Requirements

Local development documentation is currently in progress. The application relies on Supabase for backend services, Vercel for hosting, Fly.io for the API, and various third-party services for notifications, payments, and bank connections (GoCardLess, Plaid, Teller).

Limitations & Caveats

The AGPL-3.0 license may impose copyleft restrictions on derivative works. Documentation for local development is still under construction.
