How It Works

MarkFlowy leverages Tauri for its cross-platform desktop application framework, resulting in a small executable size (<10MB) and good performance. The core editing experience is powered by Remirror, a React-based toolkit for ProseMirror, offering high scalability and multiple editing modes (source code, WYSIWYG). AI capabilities are integrated, allowing for one-click conversation export, article translation, and abstract generation, with support for large models like DeepSeek and ChatGPT.

• Prerequisites: macOS users may need to run xattr -cr MarkFlowy.app in the terminal to bypass security restrictions on uncertified applications.
